My role Envisioning & pitching with Office Labs, and later as sole designer for the creation experience.
I was first involved in envisioning and pitching Sway as a part of my work with Office Labs, an innovation studio focused on future opportunities for Microsoft Office. My team was tasked with conceptualizing and pitching a concept for the future of the document. Fast forward several year, and Sway had a full product team and a year to bring it to the public. I stepped into the role of sole designer for the authoring experience, where I was responsible making the creation of a Sway effortless and delightful. I was responsible for the end-to-end deign process including ideation, wireframes, refinement, testing, final visual design and working with developers to execute on the designs. I collaborated closely with my PM and dev partners and the Sway design team throughout the iterative process.
This is a demo using the public product (February 2017).
